This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Did that frog just...bark?
Sorta...
The Barking Treefrog has a distinct, dog-like call and is native here to Tennessee. It is the states largest tree frog with bright green coloration and yellow stripes down their side.
This program is recommended for ages 8-12, but anyone is welcome to join! All children must be accompanied by adult.
Frogs of all kinds play important roles in our ecosystem including helping with insect control and can indicate environmental health. For example, if you see many frogs near a water system, that water system is most likely in good condition. So it is important to keep them and their home safe!
We will meet in the museum and this program will last about an hour. All materials will be provided by the park.
