This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
On November 4th, 1864 Confederate forces under General Nathan Bedford Forrest attacked the Federal supply depot at Johnsonville. During this Ranger-led tour learn why the supply depot was built along the Tennessee River and why the Confederates were so intent to destroy it.
Along our 1.5 mile trek we will visit original locations of civil war era railroad and earthworks sharing first person accounts of the battle. Our trek will require walking trails with moderate changes in elevation over uneven terrain.
