Description: Art in the Park - Clay Owl Art
Location: Henry Horton State Park
Whooo wants to come out and join us for an evening creating in the beautiful outdoor setting of Henry Horton State Park?
In this program, local Artist Anna Whitworth will teach you the process of hand building and sculpting techniques, while utilizing various texture tools to create your own clay owl wall art.
This is a two-part program. The first night will be art instruction/demonstration and creating our owls. The artwork will then be slowly dried, then bisque fired in a kiln. The second night will be staining and sealing your artwork. All materials are included. You are welcome to bring your own personal items to imprint texture on your owl to create personalized significance, i.e., jewelry, buttons, unique findings…
