While donuts were made more popular at the turn of the century with World War I, recipes have existed and been enjoyed for hundreds of years. Join us as we test an 1850 recipe for donuts in the Appalachian Test Kitchen. You'll get a chance to taste the difference, see how historic recipes differ to modern cooks, and have a recipe to take and try in your own kitchen!
