Gather around the campfire for Animal Stories from Appalachia, an evening of tales celebrating our furry neighbors! Storyteller Natalya Smith will share a mix of Appalachian folktales and traditional Cherokee stories that highlight the animals and landscapes of this region. This family-friendly storytelling program invites listeners of all ages to experience the wonder, humor, and wisdom woven through the mountains’ storytelling traditions.
This program is recommended for families and participants of all ages. Please meet at the Hickory Ridge Outdoor Classroom at 6:30 PM. For more details about accessibility, read the Essential Eligibility Criteria. The program will last approximately an hour and will include a cozy campfire and complimentary s’mores.
The cost of this program is $6 per participant.
Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
