This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Ranger Colton to Learn How to Find, Identify, and Preserve Animal Tracks!
Animals come in all shapes and sizes, and their tracks are the same way. They are all unique and learning how to identify them can help you discern the creatures prowling around your yard at home or out on the hiking trail.
During this program, you will learn about many of the different animals that call Natchez Trace home. We will hopefully find several different kinds of tracks, and you will be able to use plaster to create a mold to preserve the track. Wildlife is all unique, so I cannot guarantee that there will be tracks on the ground. However, I will do my best to find some for y'all to see and mold!
Some hiking/walking will be involved: up to 0.7 miles.
