This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Make your way down to the Nature Center to learn about the Atlatl, one of the oldest weapons incented by humans. Atlatl’s are wooden devices used to throw spears further and stronger than with your arm alone. This program will focus on exploring the archeological history of the Atlatl and how prehistoric humans would use them. We will test our own skills at using Atlatl’s on hay bale targets. This program is great for all ages and will meet directly outside of the Nature Center.
