Tennessee is home to 22 species of frogs and over 60 species of salamanders. Join Seasonal Ranger Ashlyn to learn about amphibian adaptations and how Tennessee supports such diversity!
Guests will be guided along parts of Elkins trail down to a stream to search for salamanders. The hike will total around 1.5-2 miles and is rated moderate. Please come prepared with appropriate footwear, a water bottle, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty/wet.
Please meet Ranger Ashlyn at the Canteen parking lot by 2:00 PM.
