AMERICA 250: SGT. YORK JUBILEE
Celebrate the 4th of July at the home and farm of celebrated war hero, Sgt. Alvin C. York! On the country's 250th birthday, experience special tours and programs offered at the park throughout the day. Create your own history-based-adventure by purchasing tickets for any special tours you and your family would like to attend, and plan to spend the day with us in beautiful Pall Mall, TN by the banks of the Wolf River! All times in Central Standard Time.
DAY SCHEDULE
York Home Open House (Free) - Visit the historic 1922 home of Sgt. York at your own time during the open house hours, and ask questions of the interpreters stationed throughout York's home.
9:30am to 3:30pm
Ticketed Special Tours ($10 per person, per tour. Approximately 1 hour tours) - Purchase a ticket and go on the tour of your choosing at whatever time slot works best for you! (Go on all three for the full experience of the York Farm and Wolf River Valley!)
- Mill Tour (offered 10am, 12pm, 2pm)
- Driving Tour (offered 10am, 12pm, 2pm)
- Trench Tour (offered 10am, 12pm, 2pm)
Visitor Center Presentation "Sgt. in the Spotlight" (Free) - This program highlights the story of the academy award winning film "Sgt. York" starring Gary Cooper. Discover the fact vs. fiction of several impactful scenes of the movie! Meet in Visitor Center.
Schoolyard Games (Free) - Join us by the York garden to learn how to play some schoolyard games like marbles and jacks! These are just two of many games that kids in the valley would play to pass the time.
