Join Ranger Owen Grant for an exciting post-Thanksgiving hike on the Lake Trail and Lake View Trail. This will be a fun family-friendly hike covering approximately 2.3 miles round-trip, with a moderate level of difficulty. The Lake Trail offers spectacular views overlooking our 12-acre lake and a wide variety of plant species. Participants should be capable of hiking in rugged trail conditions and be able to navigate uneven, rocky terrain. Please wear sturdy footwear and remember to bring an ample supply of water and snacks. We will meet at Shelter #2 in the picnic area at 9:00 AM CST. In case of inclement weather, hike cancellation notices will be posted on the park's Facebook page.
