Description: Adult Summer Camp
Location: Cumberland Mountain State Park
Who says kids get to have all the fun? Check out this end of summer day camp geared toward adults!
Join us for a 3 half-day camp as we get hands-on with CCC history, get our feet wet with outdoor recreation, and learn a few of the responsibilities of a TN Park Ranger. The camp is from 8:00am-12:00pm on August 4-6, 2025.
This program is designed for adults age 40+ who are eager to deepen their knowledge of survival, recreation, and resource management skills.
Get ready for an engaging experience as we take on a resource management project, go on a guided kayak tour of Byrd Lake, explore the history of Cumberland Mountain, and learn skills for basic wilderness first aid.
To make the most of this experience, we recommend you dress comfortably for outdoor activities, wear sturdy walking shoes, and considering bringing sunscreen and bug spray. Water and snacks will be provided. An agenda will be provided prior to the camp with clothing recommendations for each day.
In the event of inclement weather this program will be canceled or rescheduled. Those registered will be notified by email.
