PAST PROGRAM

This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Description: Birdability Week: Accessible Birding Tour

Location: Seven Islands State Birding Park

Join us for an accessible birding tour along the ADA trail to celebrate Birdability Week. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. We will pass through grassland habitats, stop near Wayne's pond, and head out to the bridge over the beautiful French Broad River. Over 200 species of birds have been seen at Seven Islands. During October, we may see a mix of resident and migrating birds. This trail is approximately 1 mile each way and has two benches available along the trail.

This outing is for birders of all skill levels. Bring your own binoculars, or borrow a pair of ours.

Pre-registration is required. This program is limited to 12 participants.

**A motorized all-terrain wheel chair is available to borrow upon request. Please contact destinee.braden@tn.gov in advance for more information. **
