Description: TN Serves & National Public Lands Day 2025

Location: North Chickamauga Creek Gorge State Park

Mark your calendars for September 20th, 2025! North Chickamauga Creek Gorge State Park is organizing a volunteer event to celebrate Tennessee Serves and National Public Lands Day. We’ll be focusing on trash clean-up on our Hogskin Loop Trail, and we need your help! This is a family-friendly event, so bring the whole crew and spend a day in nature while giving back to the community.


Meet Ranger Lukas at our Montlake Trailhead at 9:00 am EST. Please wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing. All necessary tools and instructions will be provided.

There are no restroom facilities at North Chickamauga Creek Gorge State Park. The closest restrooms are located at the gas stations along Dayton Pike, approximately 1.5 miles from the Montlake Road Trailhead. There are no water bottle stations at the park. Please bring your own water and snacks.
