Join Ranger Spencer for a new moon night hike to the Stone Door overlook that is sure to amaze. This hike is two miles long round trip and will take visitors to several overlooks to experience the night sky and the unseen wonders of night in the beautiful Savage Gulf State Park. Visitors are required to bring their own headlamp, sturdy hiking boots, appropriate clothing for the weather, and the spirit of adventure. This hike is limited to the first 10 people to register and is $15 per person. Please meet the ranger at the Stone Door Station (Savage Gulf North) about 15 minutes before the start of the hike to check in. Please note that in the case of inclement weather (rain,high wind, snow, etc.) this program will be cancelled and a refund issued.
NOTE: while supplies last visitors will be receiving a small flashlight to take home as apart of your program registration.
