Description: Ice Age Hunting with Atlatls

Location: Natchez Trace State Park

Join Ranger Colton at the Archery Range to Learn How to Hunt Wooly Mammoths like an Ice Age Hunter!

Atlatls are an ancient hunting tool used for thousands of years to take down animals as big as wooly mammoths and ground sloths. Learn how Pleistocene hunters used these simple weapons and you'll get to practice your skills as a caveman!
