This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join us for beginner’s needle felting and make small Halloween decorations! The cost of this program is $3 per person.
Felting is the process of interlocking and compressing wool fibers to create a non-woven fabric. The practice of felting has been around in different iterations throughout most of human history. For this activity, we will be learning about the history of fabric and how wool and other textiles were important to the Hull family while doing a fun craft!
This program is recommended for anyone 8 years or older that is looking to learn the history and craft of needle felting. Kids 7 years and younger may participate with adult supervision.
During this program will be using wool and small needles for our needle felting craft. Materials will be provided by the park.
To prepare for this program, please read the attached Essential Eligibility Criteria below.
In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled.
