Are you ready to see the beautiful Fall colors? Join Ranger Isabelle for our Fall Colors Hike and go from our Montlake Trailhead to the Boston Branch Overlook to see the gorge bloom with colors*. Photo opportunities will be provided!
The hike is considered moderately strenuous and is 5.5 miles long, mostly uphill. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring water/snacks with you. The hike is anticipated to take approximately 4 hours, so please plan accordingly.

There are no restroom facilities at North Chickamauga Creek Gorge State Park. The closest restrooms are located at the gas stations along Dayton Pike, approximately 1.5 miles from the Montlake Road Trailhead. There are no water bottle stations at the park. Please bring your own water and snacks.
*Please note that the hike date is based on predicted peak color times, but we cannot guarantee that it will be in full color.
