Description: Earth Day Trash Pickup at the River

Location: Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park

Join us for a fulfilling day of improving upon our planet! We will pick up trash next to the 4th longest river on Earth.

Ranger Decoda Muller will be at the Visitor Center until approximately 8:50am. He and the present volunteers will drive down to the pickup spot on Jackson Hill Road, aka River Road. Anybody that shows up afterward can get directions from the Visitor Center Clerk. Any amount of time that our Volunteers can spare is always appreciated!

Bring your own water. Bug spray with Deet will be available.
