This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Learn about the history of weaving and make your own potholder!
This program is suitable for all ages.
Cordell Hull wrote in his memoirs that he grew up wearing "homespun," meaning he wore what his mother made for him on a loom. During this program, we will discuss the history of weaving and how families like the Hull's would go about making their own clothes.
All materials for the craft will be provided by the park. This program will last around an hour.
Please read the Essential Eligibility Criteria to better prepare for this program.
In the case of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
