This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join Ranger Caden at Pin Oak Shelter 1 on December 13th at 2:30 PM to discover the art of corn husk dolls, a craft with roots in Native American and early settler traditions. Participants will learn how to turn dried corn husks into toys, just like our ancestors did.
This interactive workshop is great for families and individuals of all ages.
By the end of the program, everyone will have a handmade doll to take home and a greater appreciation for a historical craft.
*Please note the restrooms by the shelter will likely be closed for winter. The nearest restroom will be a mile away.
