Join Ranger Jayden at the Interpretive Center for early access to our day use trails, and to see what birds visit our grasslands in the morning! T.O. Fuller State Park is located in the middle of the Mississippi Flyway, where some 40% of North American bird species migrate through. These birds stop in natural areas like forests, wetlands, and grasslands in order to forage, hunt, and rest. Many other birds call T.O. Fuller home throughout the year as well!
We have binoculars to borrow at the Interpretive Center to assist in your birding.
This hike will be along a paved trail with little shade and occasional tall grass. Dress appropriately, wear bug spray and sunscreen if necessary, and bring plenty of water!
