Description: 2 Mile Sunset Kayak Float (6PM) - Single Kayak

Location: Henry Horton State Park

Join us for a family-friendly sunset kayak float along the beautiful Duck River. This trip is a 2-mile guided kayak float that will take roughly 1.5 hours. This section of the Duck River is perfect for any skill level and would be perfect for first time kayakers.

Please read the following information carefully:

  • Participants under 16 must have a parent or guardian present.
  • Participants must be 10 years or older to use a single-seated kayak.
  • Children cannot ride in a lap.
  • Participants must wear a life jacket while on the water.
  • Please wear water appropriate shoes and clothing. Water, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended.
  • Alcohol is NOT permitted on the kayak float, before or during the trip.
  • Dogs are NOT allowed on trips.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early. A safety brief will be given before we hit the water.
  • No cash will be taken for the trip, guests must pay prior to the day of the trip either online or at one of our point of sale locations on the park.
  • We will meet at the Wetland River Access - River access #3
  • Participants will be shuttled via a truck at the start of the tour
  • Please be advised in the event of inclement weather or unsafe water levels, the trip will be canceled at the park ranger and/or guide staff's discretion and a refund will be provided.
