Intermittent Closures of the Blue Bank Day Use Area:
Blue Bank Day Use Area is undergoing renovations to repair tornado damage and improve this area for visitors.
Please be aware that intermittent closures of this area will occur throughout the construction period to help keep visitors safe and allow crews to complete the work.

Eagle Basin Day Use Area Temporary Closure:
Eagle Basin Day Use Area will be closed to the public beginning June 12, 2026, until further notice. This area is under construction and unsafe for visitors. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, please contact the park office.
Long Park Temporary Partial Closure:
Long Park will be partially closed beginning October 19, 2026 for approximately 12 weeks for pier reconstruction. The boat ramp will remain open. Only the area east of the ramp will be closed. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, please contact the park office.

Reelfoot Lake Tours
Our tours showcase the serenity and peacefulness of this "Earthquake Lake". Majestic cypress trees rise from the reflective waters of Reelfoot Lake. Aquatic plants and flowers occupy the shoreline and saturate the shallow waters. Depending on the time of year, expect to see eagles nesting, pelicans, great blue herons, ducks and other water fowl.
We invite you to bring soft drinks and snacks to make your trip even more enjoyable. Don't forget your camera!
Reservations are strongly recommended as tours frequently sell out and reservations are the only way to ensure a spot is available for you and/or your party. Please plan accordingly.
