Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park is 13,476-acres of hardwoods bordering the Mississippi River that features mature Bald Cypress and a Tupelo swamp. Most of the facilities can be found atop the Chickasaw Bluffs that are covered with oak, hickory and sweet gum trees. Two National Champion trees as well as 10 state Champion Trees can be found within the park.
